How To Clear Storage On Lg Stylo 3

Running out of internal memory on styo 3. The file manager does not help on showing me whats eating up my 16 gb, I have moved everything I can to the sd card yet I have about 300 mb remaining. Could it be a full recycle bin?

What exactly did you move to the SD card? Media files? Does your phone have a "Move to SD" function in the Settings>Apps menu? If so, remember that moving an app to SD only moves a portion of the app (and often a relatively small portion). The problem is most probably apps on your phone. Apps constantly update themselves and with the updates the memory gets full. If you can, do a factory reset but make sure you do a backup first. Hope this helps.

I had this problem with my galaxy. Its not fun at all. Did you try one of those phone cleaning apps?

I've been looking at this phone as a possible upgrade, so I'd love to hear more about it, especially how it handles using an SD card as extended memory. My current phone has 16GB and is nearly full, and doesn't allow enough to be moved to the SD.

That said, try Settings, Smart Manager, Clean All, if it has Smart Manager.

Then download and try Appmgr Pro to see if more can be moved. It allows automating the moving of apps to the SD with the latest versions if you allow it to use the Accessibility features.

Each time an app updates, it moves back to the internal memory. After you update apps, run Appmgr Pro to move them back to SD.

Appmgr Pro is one of the few shareware apps I have installed and paid for, it's that useful.

I have the Stylos 3 plus phone any apps moved to the sd memory card will return to internal storage after Google Store updates the app. Then l have to move back to sd again.

That's normal. It's one of the limitations of using the Move to SD feature.
